Liftify vs. Birdeye

Two capable platforms. One comes with a team.

Birdeye holds a 4.7 on G2 across thousands of reviews and sells software into twenty-five industries. Liftify is a service company that builds software: every brand gets a named customer success lead, and our deepest expertise is home services, where most of our customers are. Below is where each platform leads, what we do not do, and what the commercial terms look like on both sides.

The Scorecard

Close on the software. The difference is who runs it.

Liftify leads Birdeye on all eight core G2 satisfaction dimensions, but the gaps are single digits and Birdeye’s scores rest on thousands of reviews. Anyone who tells you Birdeye is bad software is not worth listening to. The difference shows up in who is on the other end of it, and in what you are committing to when you sign.

Source: G2 satisfaction data converted from G2’s published 0–10 scale. Birdeye pulled September 2026; Liftify pulled July 2026. Of the eight features both products carry a published score on, Liftify leads seven and Birdeye leads social media management. "n.a." means the feature is not scored for that product inside the Online Reputation Management category — it is a category-tagging artifact, not evidence the capability is missing. Birdeye ships AI review responses.

Birdeye markets AI agents hard, and their own buyers rate the agentic layer in the low 80s while rating the core platform in the 90s: autonomous task execution 81%, multi-step planning 80%, cross-system integration 82%, adaptive learning 82%. Liftify’s agentic subscores run 85–92% across the same category.

The contract

What the agreement commits you to.

Commercial terms are as much a part of this decision as the software, and Birdeye publishes theirs openly. Three clauses worth reading before you sign:

“At the time of any auto renewal… Birdeye will apply an 8% fee on all recurring Services fees… (“Innovation Fee”)… Client hereby consents in advance to such automatic application of the Innovation Fee.”
Birdeye Terms & Conditions, Section 6
“Any agreement for Services will auto renew for the same period of time as the initial term of the agreement unless written notice of non-renewal is provided to BirdEye at least 90 days prior to the date of renewal.”
Birdeye Terms & Conditions, Section 2.3
“All payment obligations under any and all Order Forms or Statements of Work are non-cancellable and all payments made are non-refundable.”
Birdeye Terms & Conditions, Section 5.1

What 8% a year compounds to on a 22-location portfolio

Modelled on the $349 per location per month Growth rate reported by third-party pricing trackers. Birdeye does not publish this figure. The 8% is theirs, in writing.

Year Per location / mo 22 locations / yr
Year 1 $349.00 $92,136
Year 2 $376.92 $99,507
Year 3 $407.07 $107,467
Year 4 $439.64 $116,065
Year 5 $474.81 $125,350

By year three the rate is 17% above where it started; by year five, 36%. Across a five-year hold that is roughly $80,000 more than the same portfolio at a flat rate — with no performance trigger and no cap in the published terms. A 22-location portfolio is not hypothetical: it is the size of the PE-backed group in our Impact Home Services case study.

Support

Tech-forward. Human-led. Same as the businesses we serve.

Liftify is a service company that builds software, not a software company that answers tickets. Every brand gets a named customer success lead whose job is making sure the program actually produces, because handing someone a login is not delivery. Birdeye does provide real support: their G2 quality-of-support score is 94% across thousands of reviews, and onboarding runs through their team rather than self-serve. The difference is structure. Someone who knows your brand and your markets, against a queue that knows your ticket number.

"Their reporting and communication transparency is beyond the norm, especially for our industry. They are helping lift the brand and drive awareness like never before!"

Pricing

Pricing built around your needs.

Liftify

Every portfolio is different, so your price is too. Liftify builds a custom, transparent quote around your footprint and the outcomes you’re after, and no surprise add-on fees.

Custom pricing that scales with your needs
One clear, itemized quote up front, everything included
No additional fees for seats
A dedicated reputation strategist on every plan

Most deployments start with a no-cost pilot across five Google Business Profiles.

Birdeye

Birdeye publishes no pricing. Their pricing page asks for your location count and a mobile number, then routes you to a quote. Everything below about their commercial terms is quoted from documents Birdeye publishes themselves; the dollar figures are what third-party trackers report, because Birdeye does not state them.

What Birdeye buyers sign up to
No published pricing — quote requires location count and a mobile number
8% "Innovation Fee" applied automatically at every auto-renewal (Section 6)
12-month term that auto-renews unless cancelled 90 days ahead (Section 2.3)
All payment obligations non-cancellable, all payments non-refundable (Section 5.1)
Setup reported at $500–$1,500 per location, add-on modules $50–$150/mo each

Contract terms quoted from Birdeye’s published Terms & Conditions and Cancellation Policy, retrieved September 2026. Dollar figures are as reported by third-party pricing trackers, not stated by Birdeye. Birdeye does offer a 30-day no-card trial of its Reviews tool. The Liftify pilot differs in scope: 30 days, up to five locations, and the whole platform rather than a single tool.

Integration is not the differentiator. What happens after is.

Liftify

Liftify connects to 60+ field service and CRM platforms, and the work starts once the review lands.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Is Liftify better software than Birdeye?
We score higher on all eight core G2 satisfaction dimensions, and on seven of the eight features both products are rated on. Birdeye takes social media management, and it carries about 27 times our review volume. But the software is not really the argument. Birdeye sells one platform into 25 industries on a 12-month contract that renews itself and costs 8% more every time it does. Liftify does one thing, reputation, and staffs it with a named customer success lead on your brand. Our deepest expertise is home services, and the pilot lets you watch the whole thing work before you sign anything.
What is Birdeye’s Innovation Fee?
It is an 8% increase Birdeye adds to your recurring fees every time the contract renews, and you agree to it in advance when you sign. Section 6 of their published terms spells it out. It compounds, so the rate sits about 17% above where it started by year three and 36% by year five. Nothing in the published terms ties it to performance or caps how high it goes.
How hard is it to cancel Birdeye?
You need to give written notice 90 days before the renewal date. Miss that window and you own another full term. Their terms also state that payment obligations are non-cancellable and payments non-refundable, and their cancellation page confirms an account can only close early if your signed contract happens to include an opt-out clause.
We already have years of reviews through Birdeye. What happens to them if we switch?
They stay where they are. Your reviews live on Google, Facebook and the other profiles customers actually read, not inside a vendor, so none of that history moves or disappears when the program does. What changes is what happens next: who asks for the review, how fast the request goes out after a job, who answers it, and who is watching the pattern across your locations.
Does Birdeye integrate with ServiceTitan?
Yes, and it works well. Contact data syncs on dispatch and the request fires on job completion without anyone in the office touching it. Liftify does the same, across ServiceTitan and 60 or so other field service and CRM platforms. Integration is table stakes at this point. The difference shows up after the review lands: how it gets routed, how the response sounds, whether anyone fights a policy violation on your behalf, and whether any of it rolls up across the portfolio.
Should I ever pick Birdeye over Liftify?
Yes. If you want payments, financing, listings across hundreds of directories and social publishing from one vendor, and reputation is one line on a longer list, Birdeye is a reasonable buy. If reputation is the thing deciding who gets the call in your market, buy the platform that does only that and puts a person on it who knows your brand.
