Bone Dry Roofing is one of the largest residential roofing companies in the Midwest and beyond. The Bone Dry brand is a collection of family-owned locations that emphasize that they are each individual companies, not franchises. It all started in 1989 when founder, Gene Judd took his skills from building roofs with his parents while growing up in Speedway, IN. With his passion to make his roofs the "gold standard," the Bone Dry Roofing brand was born. Gene always says, "that's not just your roof up there, that's our reputation." This attitude continued on as he expanded his skills into gutters, downspouts, insulation, and masonry.

The Bone Dry Roofing brand is made up of 26 locations that span the Midwest along with Colorado and Florida. Some of their names differ beyond "Bone Dry" but each location possesses the same "gritty DNA" that is influenced by Gene Judd. They have been able to stay in business for over 3 decades because their mission is to "ensure peace-of-mind for each and every customer through exceptional service." With their unique family-like culture, Bone Dry is a proud active-member of each community they serve and they give back whenever they can which in turn allows their customers to be family as well. 

New Marketing Leader Brings Modern Approach

In December of 2023, Bone Dry welcomed Matthew Tyner to the team as Chief Marketing Officer. Tyner is a seasoned marketing leader in the home service industry with prior experience working with MAX Service Group and Valve+Meter Performance Marketing. He brings a modern approach to marketing by putting their efforts toward telling the story of great service and quality that Bone Dry Roofing provides. 


Partnership with Liftify

Liftify Founder & CEO Zach Garrett met Matt when they were both speaking at a home service marketing summit event in 2022. At the time, Matt was Vice President of Brand Marketing at MAX Service Group and using one of the large incumbent reputation providers. Over time he had become frustrated with the lack of customer service and support from providers that are only providing software. He was interested in the solution approach, customization, and high service model that Liftify offered. MAX and Liftify started there partnership and quickly saw an increase in reviews, ability to more evenly grow their various location review counts, and more customization and needed support. 

When Matt joined as CMO at Bone Dry Roofing, he immediately recognized that online reviews, ratings, and reputation were areas that needed to improve. He connected with the Liftify team and was able to start his Liftify campaigns for all 26 locations within a couple weeks.
