Liftify Welcomes Orr Fellow Carson Heath to the team

Meet Carson Heath, Liftify's newest addition to the team. Through the Orr Fellowship, Carson will be working closely with CEO Zach Garrett and the team is excited to have him!

Personal Background

Carson grew up in Wabash, IN with his parents and two older sisters. During middle school and high school, Carson was involved in his church, participated in FCA, and played sports. He primarily focused on football and golf. When it came time to choose a college, Carson only looked at one school, Taylor University. His older sisters had attended TU and had a great experience which made the decision very easy for him.

During his time at Taylor, Carson studied to earn a degree in Marketing and Management. While he was a student there, he was heavily involved in the community and took on multiple leadership roles as a Discipleship Assistant, a small group leader, and a CrossFit Coach. He also enjoyed his other campus jobs in the Alumni Office and the Calling and Career Office where he was an intern.

Outside of work, Carson loves spending time with his family, especially now that they all live in Indianapolis. He also recently became an uncle! Carson loves spending time working out at the CrossFit gym which helps him continue to keep up with his athlete days. Carson enjoys playing pickleball, spikeball, and throwing the football around. With his recent move to Indy, Carson is looking forward to attending more Colts and Pacers games!

Professional Background (Before Liftify)

Prior to joining the Liftify Team, he participated in Prolific's Internship program as a researcher in the summer between his junior and senior year. Through that experience, he was able to get a taste of the strategy consulting industry. He learned a lot about the importance of backing strategies and research, as well as how crucial it is to work together to achieve success on projects. He finished out that internship with a presentation of a Strategic Growth plan that the interns put together for a non-profit business that ended up putting that plan in place.

During Carson's senior year at Taylor, he applied and was admitted into the Orr Fellowship, an Indianapolis post-grad program that gives college graduates the opportunity to have programs and partnerships as they search for their first salaried, full-time position following graduation. Each year, a talented group of graduates is selected and placed with a great Indianapolis host company. The program is a two-year commitment where host companies engage them in innovative projects while allowing them the opportunity to work closely with company executives. Carson started the Fellowship quickly following his college graduation in May 2024.

At Liftify

During the Orr interview process on the finalist day, Carson was introduced to Liftify CEO, Zach Garrett by interviewing for the company. Through getting to know Zach and learning about the company, Carson was sold on wanting to join the team! He loves that the company is a start-up and that there will be so many opportunities for him to learn about the different aspects of the business.

I am super excited about working with such a fun and talented team at Liftify. I am sold on the work that they do and I want to help the company to continue its impact and results for their partners.
