Welcome Kyle: Solving Problems, Serving People
Kyle joins Liftify as an Account Manager, bringing experience from high-growth tech and a genuine passion for helping businesses succeed. His journey from knocking on doors as a college entrepreneur to working at a $3B valued SaaS company has equipped him with both the skills and the heart to serve Liftify's customers well.
"Kyle's path to Liftify has been years in the making. What stands out most is his relentless focus on people and outcomes. He doesn't just want to close deals—he wants to solve real problems and build relationships that last. That's exactly the kind of Account Manager our customers deserve." - Zach Garrett | Liftify CEO
Growing Up on the West Side
Kyle grew up in Avon, Indiana, on the west side of Indianapolis, in a tight-knit family that shaped everything about who he is today. His parents taught him how to love people well, live selflessly, and strive to follow Christ—a foundation he carries into everything he does. Kyle has two older brothers who have built impressive careers (one as a developer, the other as a real estate broker in Indianapolis) and a younger sister who's starting college this year to pursue songwriting. According to Kyle, she's the most talented person he knows.
The family keeps growing, with two nieces and a nephew now in the mix—who Kyle proudly claims as his favorites. His sisters-in-law have brought thoughtfulness, generosity, and grounding presence to the family, and Kyle is quick to give them credit for making everyone around them better.
Kyle's childhood revolved around sports and people. Whether it was practice, pickup games, or just hanging out with friends, he was always happiest when he was moving, competing, and surrounded by others. That love for connection still defines how he shows up today—whether it's trying new restaurants, walking around the city, or grabbing coffee with someone he's invested in.
Outside of work, you'll find Kyle running Central Park or the West Side Highway, hiking, planning ski trips with friends, reading books that challenge his perspective, or occasionally attempting to cook. He's also passionate about faith, mentorship, and serving the next generation—business is what he does, but people are always the point.
From The Stacked Pickle to Ironclad
Kyle attended Olivet Nazarene University, where he played collegiate tennis and initially studied Youth Ministry. While he's always cared deeply about the next generation, he realized his long-term calling was in business, where he could still serve others. He graduated with a degree in Business Administration, but some of his best education came outside the classroom.
One of Kyle's favorite jobs was hosting at The Stacked Pickle, a local bar and grill, during high school. Rolling up to the stand, hearing wild stories from coworkers, dishing out free fried pickles, and remembering regulars by name—it was the kind of job that taught him the value of showing up with energy and treating people well.
In college, Kyle and his roommate Cameron Delbridge launched a pressure washing business over the summer. They knocked on doors, handed out flyers, and sprayed dirt off pavement in the scorching heat. It was challenging, but Kyle loved every second. During that time, they reached out to as many CEOs as they could find on LinkedIn, sharing their story and asking to connect over coffee. One of those people was Zach Garrett, Liftify's CEO.
A few months later, Zach offered Kyle an internship in the months leading up to graduation. Kyle was grateful for the chance to learn and be part of the team, even for a short time.
After graduation, Kyle set his sights on landing an entry-level sales role in tech. He joined Ironclad shortly after their Series E, which valued the company at $3B. At the time, Kyle admits he didn't fully understand what that meant, but he loved the team and thought their logo was clean. Ironclad was a strong mid-market organization with ambitions of going public, and Kyle learned an incredible amount working alongside some of the most interesting people he'd ever met.
The biggest lesson from his time at Ironclad was deeply understanding the problem your solution is solving and speaking to the outcomes it creates. People buy business outcomes, not features. That mindset still shapes how Kyle approaches sales today.
Coming Full Circle at Liftify
While Kyle loved his time at Ironclad, every journey eventually comes to an end. Over the three years he was there, one person consistently stayed in touch and asked to grab coffee: Zach Garrett. Kyle jokes that Zach must have his own personal CRM, but the truth is he's just incredibly intentional about maintaining relationships.
When they finally caught up, they talked through Liftify's goals, long-term vision, and most importantly, the people—both the team Kyle would work alongside every day and the customers he'd get to serve. After one call, Kyle was all in.
"Every week, our all-hands chat fills up with customer stories and photos of their wins. It's a constant reminder that customer success is not just a metric at Liftify, it's the culture. When our customers win, we genuinely feel like we win too." - Kyle | Liftify Account Manager
As an Account Manager at Liftify, Kyle works alongside customers to help them win online. A lot of his job involves digging into how a business really works, figuring out what's broken or being overlooked, and then using Liftify to help fix it. It's relationship-heavy, strategic, and problem-focused—exactly his speed.
Kyle's journey to Liftify has been years in the making, and while this chapter is just beginning, he knows it will be a transformative season in his career. And yes, he can tie a knot in a rubber band with one hand—a unique ability that has yet to be applied to account management, but we're open to suggestions.
