I am incredibly excited to add Nicole to our growing team. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and is a great person! She is already familiar with some of our customers and industries that we play in and I have no dobut will add immediate value to our business as we continue to scale and find new and better ways to support our customers.

-Zach Garrett | Liftify Founder & CEO

Personal Background

Nicole grew up in Conshohocken, PA, a small but tight-knit town where everyone knew everyone! She grew up with her 3 siblings in her large Italian Catholic family and her parents still live there today! Something her and her husband, Rich had in common when they met is they both came from very large families, which has strongly influenced their lives today - full of quality time with all of the aunts, uncles, and cousins! Having a strong family and faith have helped keep them centered throughout their lives.

Right outside of her hometown is where Nicole & Rich raise their family in Plymouth Meeting, PA: Richie (15), Giavanna (11), and Priscilla (7). Along with their children, they have raised a mini horse, goats, sheep, lots of chickens, and a German Shepard. They love their simple and cozy life that is made up of family, faith, and food!

When Nicole isn't working, she is spending time with her family! She enjoys hosting all of their extended family by the pool, vacationing together in places like Ocean City, MD & the Jersey Shore and cheering on the Eagles and the Phillies. The Marinos spend their time attending Mass, catching a good Netflix series, and being outside! If there is country music and a good cup of coffee, Nicole is happy!

Professional Background (Before Liftify)

When it came time for college, Nicole received a lacrosse scholarship to play at La Salle University. She graduated in 2001 with a BA in PR Communications and Business.

She began her career working for the CertaPro Painters Corporate team, where she worked predominantly in marketing for both residential and B2B customers. Nicole loved deep market research which led to her taking charge of multiple campaigns that she could track and implement the results while being able to see things from both the customer and the franchisors perspectives. Throughout her 21 years with CertaPro Painters, Nicole worked with many different teams including the Franchise Sales Team where she developed the franchise territories, as well as the National Accounts team

As COVID shifted the world, Nicole opened her own LLC to utilize her skills as a contractor for many First Service Brands like Floor Coverings International.

At Liftify

In January 2023, the Marinos met the Garretts at a franchise convention they were both attending. They connected, had great conversations all day, and realized how much of their networks overlapped. When the opportunity presented itself, Nicole was the obvious choice for a new addition to the Liftify team! At Liftify Nicole will support Zach directly and also be a resource to our franchise customers and broader team. Her deep industry experience will give our team a valuable customer lens for what businesses face in the franchise world and how we can best support them.

I have been saying this about Liftify since I met Zach: I love what Liftify is doing. I believe in it! I love the vibe and the culture of what Zach and his team have built.  I love that Liftify is actually moving the needle and making a difference in Franchisees’ businesses - including all of those close to my heart like CertaPro Painters, California Closets, Floor Coverings International, and Paul Davis Restoration. It will be nice for me to be a part of something that helps these Franchisees from a different angle.
